How long can a driver operate a bus?
The United States Department of Transportation has guidelines as to how long a
driver can operate a vehicle. A driver cannot drive more than 10 hours following
8 CONSECUTIVE hours off duty. A driver cannot be on duty more than 15 hours without
8 consecutive hours off duty.
